Ok, so it seems that Jenny O'Connor from E Muzeki has a new project out there, and they're coming to TRF! They're called Circa Paleo, and they have an awesome sound that I'm sure everyone will love. Here's the link to their site, and I've emailed them to find out where they'll be performing...

Yeah. Jenny is on violin, the drummer is also from E-Muzeki and Jay Elkins is on guitar. Jay was playing snare drum some of the time with Wine and Alchemy at Scarby this year for those of you who saw their performances. They are in Michigan right now, and I am sure they will be a great addition to the music out at TRF. I only know Jay personally. He is a really nice guy so get out and support them this year.
Oh, and when the first of us finds out where they are going to be located, let us all know here so we can watch them.
Jenny's email said they'd be playing down in Sherwood, so I'm thinking maybe around where Tartanic plays?
I love the new sound- we are so excited to see her/them!
awesome news .. I got there new CD in the mail about 2 weeks ago ;-) so is Wine and Alchemy going to be playing as well?
Tartanic plays on the Dove Meadow Stage with Wine and Alchemy. I think there may be a little stage somewhere in the open space where the gardens are or something. I'm going to go dig around this weekend and see what there is to see.
I think she means in the open area in front of the maze. I saw Tartanic perform there a few times in 2007 tag teaming Cast in Bronze. It is a possibility.
Yes, Wine and Alchemy is playing on the Dove Meadow Stage with Tartanic and one other group that escapes me at the moment.
yeppers, that's what i meant!
That makes my week! ;D
Yes!! I'm so glad! She's such an amazing violinist!!! :3
This is great news ... can't wait to see & hear 'em!
Wow! I am glad you posted about this. Here I am up in Michigan hemming and hawing on going to the festival here and now I have a reason too. :)
