....'s opinion! ;D
Lady is braving her bug fears and now wants to accompany me. She has been to Scarborough once and really enjoyed it. So far I've told her to bring comfortable walking shoes and that underwear is against the law at TRF. (http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t318/Hercules101/rolleye11.gif)
Any of you Lasses, Queens, Wenches and/or Ladies have absolutely-no-not-forget-to-bring suggestions for a first time ren-lady? (http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t318/Hercules101/confused24.gif)
Sunscreen and a change of socks in case it rains heavily.
wet wipes!!!!
portapotties automatically make one go ick, so wet wipes are IMPORTANT!
a less sweet perfume so bees dont think she's yummy.
Sunscreen
a small pouch for compact, lipstick/gloss of choice
comfortable shoes- whatever she thinks are her most comfortable FLAT shoes, she needs to put gel insoles in them because they are NOT comfortable enough.
um, money? Or are you supposed to have that?
Is she going in garb or street clothes?
When in garb I can't be without a fan... lifesaver on opening weekend when it is still "summer".
She will be in street clothes. Not sure on her wanting to be in garb. She do loooove to clothes shop though.
And I will be her personal ATM.
You realize it is your job as the MONEY to buy her garb first thing, right? Make a girl feel like a pretty pretty princess, and she's a convert for LIFE!!!
Well, if she's in street clothes, then tell her to think day at theme park for all her necessities. Don't take a heavy purse, bring a backpack if needed or small purse. Don't bring anything you have to carry in your hand so you can always have a beverage in your hand and then not accidentally leave something in a shop!! And of course a camera is a must!!
And Tops of the list is WALKING SHOES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My wife also has a fear of bugs so great she has broken her foot twice trying to aviod them. One thing she also make sure to bring is swimming shoes or flip flops to wear at night.
A mug or a goblet would be a good purchase even if she is in street clothes and,
because boy can it get hot,
a fan of some kind.
A hat for shade.
Oh, and you might want to casually mention that a polyster T-shirt would be a bad idea heat wise.
She'll sweat like she's wearing a plastic garbage sack.
...what's wrong with a hot gal in a sweaty t-shirt? (http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t318/Hercules101/9.gif)
with no showers? Sweaty gal will not want to 'thank you' for a lovely day if she feels to gross and sweaty!!
I should add we're coming in a 18ft trailer with a full bathroom, A/C, heat, micro. Roughing it......
aww, you suck.
ok, lol likely, you'll get luckier with the reminder that you are her SAVIOR from the sticky sweathy weather!
so, why is she worried about bugs? No more bugs than in a mobile home for goodness sakes!!!
Not gonna stay in trailer 100% of the time. Trust me.....no female would tolerate a pervert like me that long. Night time creepy crawlers too.
Tell me you'll be coming to meet your friends at McLotofus....
Where are you tying off your vessel???
I asked the Lovely Lady Trinn for her tips for your lady and this was what she says:
underwear for MEN IN KILTS is against the law...women can do what they want!
Things not to forget....makeup mirror, my own pillow, more blankets than you think you'll need...extra civies just incase...a camera...something to do incase you get bored at camp. It's never happened to date but I always take my Nintendo DS with me.
To be honest, I don't see many bugs at TRF.
*She didn't mention that she should bring rum, but I will toss that option in as well*
*breaks the law with undies*
What? ;D
uh.. what does a Scotsman wear under his kilt?
his boots
>:(
Ya know I was thinking of a Nintendo DS or the like. More so for the ride. Although I think she might nap on the road there and back.
Ms Blue I have nooooo idea where I'll put that little land whale when I get there. And anywhere we're welcome we're sure to visit.
good thing I'm Irish, we have the sense to wear knickers, especially in the smithy ;D
Herc: I bring my laptop with an assortment of movies and games, so it's not without precedent :)
Bring a wagon to carry the booty so yu dont have to carry it. Ha!
I usually make 2 or 3 trips to the buggy for me wife.
aye, that be a good idea... the wagon can save a lot of troubles...
plus, it allows for a lot of double entendres if you're a witty sort!
If you ladies had one place to choose to eat dinner at the faire where would it be? Any culinary orgasms to suggest?
yes. all of it, yes.
if you are chilled, a bowl of soup might be nice.
Mufalettas are always yummy...
and POW has prime rib trenchers...
"Prime rib trenchers"?? ???
MOST EXCELLENT! About a pound of prime rib... Mmmmmmm
I think there was bread and chips(fries) under all that greasy goodness... some horseradish sauce too, if i remember correctly....
Herc, you'll want to take her to the Paviliion (shoppe 201) for some truffles, or fudge, and cordials...
chocolate is always tempting!
Since we had a mild winter last year...mosquitos did not die off...bring OFF (spray or wipes), unless she wishes to get carried off the little monsters ;D
my wife reminds me how I paid the insulter at the gate. Ha! you can also have him tell her how lovely she is. Boy am I gonna b introuble Ha ;)
