Sorry for the double post, I accidentally posted this in the wrong forum the first time..sheesh.
I have a question..would it be frowned upon if we parked in the camping grounds and went for a few hours after the festival but didn't stay all night (i need my modern conveniences..sorry)? We aren't really campers but would like to go socialize for a while. Do others do that?
I'm guessing if you pay the $20 camping fee, along with showing them your ticket to the Faire, they can't complain.
Last year they check the cars in the camping area for camping tickets.
However I know people that park in the regular parking area and visit the camp grounds to socialize then when the lines of cleared walk back to regular parking.

This is more common. We will have friends that will be coming back to our camp for food and socialising while the traffic dies down. You'll want to be sure to come in the north gate (ie Not the Main gate, but the campground gate) so that you can park closer to the campgrounds.
I plan on doing that this Saturday!! ;D
Thanks guys for all the replies. Now I atleast have some clue of what's going on :-)
