Now... Kwik Sew tends to be expensive, but I don't think I've ever seen a *dedicated* bloomer pattern for women from any mainstream pattern company.
(...Also I'm trying to figure out that Superman print... ???)
That is awesome...just ashame they are too little for me :(
For some reason the pattern companies think cute things like that are only for little skinny gals

Not always true. They are making patterns too big for me.
patterns are easy for me to find in the right size...but I always end up buying the wrong size set...*sigh*
Solve all those problems! Draft your own... :D
I actually found this pattern randomly at Walmart (Simplicity 2777) http://www.simplicity.com/p-1722-costumes.aspx (http://www.simplicity.com/p-1722-costumes.aspx) The sizing seams to run really large, but I really like it. I've only made the E bloomers so far and they're super comfy!
I know this is a little late, but I have that same pattern that Ariel mentioned. I just used the pattern as a guide and winged it after cutting the pieces. But there is plenty of room (I believe I made the size 20 for myself). And I don't think it would be difficult to draft these a little larger for my mom. I did get the length wrong. I wanted below the knee and even though that was the pattern length I chose they come above the knee on me. So next time I will add 3-4 inches or just use the long length pattern.
I made Sim 2777. The long version. Took forever. But I guess its all in the details. Lots of room in the tush and legs. Trying to post a picture....need help with that. Anyone?

Oh my gosh, those are ADORABLE! I LOVE the trim!
Those are super cute!
The trim is a gimp, I think. Got it really cheap on ebay a few years ago. Sort of stiff so the ruffle didn't relax. Really like the elastic in the waist. Drawstrings are a pain to deal with when your backstage using a Porta John. I like the band below to knee. I altered the opening, making it smaller. Just seemed to big. I wear a size 12/14 in pants so I made the size 18 on the pattern. I have some other bloomers that just feel to tight. So I wanted these to give more room. I like all the room in the tush, but not below the knee. Overall I really like them. But it took all day to make them.
those are CUTE
now I need to make a pair with the fringe on the bottom for my mom she'll LOVE that
mine look almost exactly the same just swap the colors! looks like the same fabric and trim! haha
