RULES:
Please post the responses to the questionnaire here on the forum (and if you can think of anything else that would be helpful, please do add it!  We can never know TOO much...well, wait, I suppose we actually could...but you know what I mean  Wink ).  Then please pm me your forum name, real name, and mailing address.

Deadline to mail gifts out will be December 16th (that is a Wednesday, so that people should have them in hand before whichever holiday they choose to celebrate (remember, Festivus is on the 23rd this year...and every year).  Don't feel like you need to spend a small fortune!  I know this year has been rough for a lot of people financially.  As always, the minimum price is a stamp and an envelope.  In the past, people have received books, faire accessories, faire favors, CDs, DVDs, calendars, all kinds of beautiful hand made items...be creative!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE (I cannot say please enough on this one!!!), if you think there is a chance that you will not be able to afford to do this, do NOT sign up!  Wait until May when we start our Midsummer Exchange again.  It is not fair to the person who is waiting for a gift to have their secret gift fairy back out at the last minute.  I *do* understand that sometimes unexpected situations happen after you have signed up...if that is the case, just let me know, and I will get your person rematched.  But if you are expecting to be a little short on dough this year, please do not sign up!

The sign-up deadline will be Monday, November 23th.  That way you can utilize the Thanksgiving holiday sales!

I will send out matches on Tuesday morning, let all of those last minute people join in! ;)

And if you would like to receive a holiday card from some of the wonderful people that would like to do so please let me know that it is OK to share your mailing information. 8)

After days of fruitless searching around town, found a little something on-line, and having it shipped direct. I couldn't put a 'who from', so if you get something unexpected and anonymous, it's probably me...

Lady Rebecca -- You're very welcome! And as much as I'd like to claim to have made the garb, the credit has to go to Devlyn. But I did design the noble garb myself, event though she still made it for me, lol.

Faye --  :P I'll have you know those are practically the only pictures of me from this season, lol.  *loves!*

Windchime, thank you so much for the wonderful gifts!  It's been stressful at work lately (I work retail), so the Whack a Zombie is perfect for relieving some of that stress!  The little garden gnome already has a spot in our flowers by the mailbox.  I don't have many favors, so it was nice to get another one :) The bookmark is beautiful!  Did you make it?  I already have the kids and co-workers figuring out what they want me to crochet for them out of the book lol.  I like how the Creepy Cute stuff isn't your normal run of the mill cutesy crochet type stuff.  Thank you so much!!  Everything was perfect!

Love the pirate coasters and the two candles smell great! The blue pin will end up on one of my hats for sure and the Xmas wreath pin is perfect for the holidays. I'm wearing the pretty star necklace and the two leather cuffs, one with pirate decor the other with my character name are wonderful! I can truly say, "I've been cuffed." Can't wait to wear those to an event!

Screw the event, I'm wearing them now!!

Melissandra,
You are very welcome for the gifts. I normally work retail but have been saved kinda because my Dr. won't let me return to work until Feb. Yes, I did make the bookmark and the tassle too. I thought everyone could use something to beat this time of year and what better then a zombie. The book I had been looking at for a couple of days but I can't crochet , then I seen on your list you like to do it and thought it was so much better then the normal books you always see. I'm really glad you like everything.

Due to unforeseen expenses and current illness the holiday cards were mailed this morning by my son. I mailed my gift myself today, priority mail. I almost threw up on the bus and almost at the post office. It would not have been a pretty picture but it was worth the trip.  I hope the gift arrives in time. Enjoy!

Capn Faye thank you for the card. It was a pleasant surprise.

Lady Rebecca, I have been showing off my bookends. I love them. Dan and Andy (my sons) laughed when they read the card the part about the evil step-sister. They thought of my sister. How true it is. I've also had to fight with them they wanted to take my scarf. Again, Thank You.

To all, Happy Holiday and Happy New Year!

Dearest Ottheinrich -

I am afraid that I owe you an apology. I posted my thank you on Sunday night, but I have no idea where it went. Anyway, I will say again, thank you so much for my beautiful oil lamp. I am thrilled to have such a unique piece of art, and I must say that your taste is exquisite. (Just for everyone else's information , it is a beautiful butterfly oil lamp, hand-painted, ON THE INSIDE, of mouth blown glass, and it even came in a lovely blue velvet box. And of course, he was thoughtful enough to send the oil to go in it.)

Again, thank you so much. I love it, and I wish you a wonderful holiday!

Thank you Lady M for my Christmas card. I will send you one back as soon as someone who can drive gets here. I still can not drive and it is driving me crazy.

The skirt hikes and parasol holder were made with my modest skills.  I also do mug straps if you ever find yourself in need.  Quick story.  The parasol holder is version 3.0 and I about have it where I want it.  After recieving complaints about having to thread everything on the belt first I figured I would add a button so it can be strapped on after the belt is in place.  I do hope the brown leather works with your garb.

I am gratefull that the the Thermometer made it in one piece.  I had my doubts as I packed it.  Chalk one up for USPS.

Glad you enjoyed.

So, did everyone who signed up receive something for the exchange?

Looks like we had a great exchange this year!  Thank you everyone, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! ;)

I know that I LOVED my gift. I was super late getting my package out, due to all sorts of things being thrown into the mix. I'm always scrambled this time of year, because our faire closes less than one month before Christmas. So then, I have to make sure that I get everything done that I've neglected for 2 months prior LOL. Anywho, again, sorry so late, it won't happen next time :D

Yeah, I'm a bad monkey LOL. I got the gift finally, then ran into issues getting it mailed... it was a cluster f**k, if you know what I mean LOL! I sent something to make up for it though, to make your faire days a little more interesting *snerk*...

Glad you liked it!  I tried to go with what you listed as your favorite colors.

Mine was late, too!  Sorry about that!  Christmas time can be the worst sometimes. ;)

Has everyone who received a gift posted?  I would hate that someone's gift was lost.  I appreciate everyone's participation, patience, and enthusiasm!  I hope we can do this again in the summer! ;)
