Does anyone know where we could pick up an RV or something like one for cheep.

We have a move out date Dec 15th and we are looking for a place to stay or an RV we can put up at my fair dads land in toon town.

Ok let's try this again used cheep somewhere around 400-1000 but not falling apart. Something a baby can live in maybe you know someone who just wants to get rid of there RV/ trailer,/Van, Bus something like that that has been changed in to something you can live in.

We don't have much money can not pay a lot.

Try going to Houston Craigslist and posting an ad in the RV section....I've always found really great deals on craigslist!  ;)

Do you have a truck available to tow a trailer to where you want to use it?

Doing a quick search on Houston Craigslist didn't look too promising for trailers under $2,000.  A couple looked OK on the outside, but either have roof leaks and water damage, or require other work inside (like repairing/replacing the heater).

How long do you intend to live in it?  Something to consider is that cheaper travel trailers and RV's aren't insulated very well (to reduce weight & cost), so the air & water heaters in them will burn quite a bit of propane keeping you warm through the winter.

Look in the Houston Craigslist under Free, saw an RV today, just needs tires.

Might also look into Government confiscation site sometimes you can get stuff for penies on the dollar

Sometimes you can get good deals on things like that have been reposed...might look into some auctions honey...
