Meet the newest member of my family!

This is Ginny. She is an almost one month old Campbell's Russian dwarf hamster. She was born with 4 legs, but only one foot. She was the runt of the litter, but her mom (an albino) took care of her anyway.





For size reference, those are my wife Cheri's hands. Her thumbnails (in the second picture) are almost exactly 1/2 an inch.

Well, her mom is about 4 inches long, but Ginny is much smaller than her siblings, so she probably won't get much bigger than 2.5 to 3 inches long.
