Saint Valentine's Day, commonly shortened to Valentine's Day, is an annual commemoration held on February 14 celebrating love and affection between intimate companions.[1][3] The day is named after one or more early Christian martyrs, Saint Valentine, and was established by Pope Gelasius I in 496 AD. It was deleted from the Roman calendar of saints in 1969 by Pope Paul VI, but its religious observance is still permitted. It is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). The day first became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished. There is anectdotal evidence that in its earliest years, Saint Valendtine's Day was the celebration of all forms of love, between families and friends as well as lovers and married couples.

So in that spirit, let me be the first to wish all of you a happy Valentins Day.

I know, mostly I appear to be pretty edgy and sharp of tongue (and wit, on occasion)... but Michael just makes me... melt.     

He's got IT... and his love songs make me wish I had someone who would be that... Everything... and someone to give me Crazy Love.  Not too many singers, or songs, can set off that kind of longing in me...
