Rope Sandals Question

And from anyone who has worn rope sandals:  How comfortable are they for walking around all day?
I would think that they would be cooler during the warm weather months.

I bought some of the Neptune style years ago.
The only problem I noticed is that if they get wet more than a few times they stretch out too big.
But comfortable to wear.

I love my gurkees for summer faires that tend to be on softer surfaces.

Toss em in the wash when they get too big -- they'll shrink up!

The Ranger and I both had a pair of Montegos. If you go with that style, I'd recommend ordering up one size from what you normally wear as the band across the instep is VERY snug. The Ranger couldn't adapt so we've since bought him a pair of JC Sandals from Nomadic State of Mind. These he's really enjoying.

I have a pair of JC's with a little sole from Nomadic State of Mind that I have been raving about for a year.  I ordered my true size and they are wonderful.  I have P/F and with the arche support and heel cup built in the sandals, my feet never bother me.  I originally bought them for pirating, but I love them so much I actually wear them for everyday and plan on buy 2 more pairs.
