I am not an artist, so maybe my opinion isn't what you're looking for, but as a consumer, I think it's a great idea.  I joined another forum at first only because the members are always posting what garb they are selling.


I would rather buy something for faire from people who know what they are talking about, who have actually been to faire, and know the standards that a lot of us on the forum have.  So when I buy something, it's "no surprises."  And of course, to help support other members.  So if I see something from someone who is a member on this forum, that's where I would turn first.

I'm not in a state to sell things yet.  But when buying things for faire, I go to people and companies that usually work at faire or are extremely well known with faire.

Yes, good idea, DB. I would like to sell my art and other creations that are faire related.

I think this is a great Idea. 

I don't make things to sell but I would buy from a memeber from here than some site I am unfamilar with.
