Campgrounds near Sherwood Forest

For the first couple of years, we cannot support RVs/travel trailers in the Playtron campgrounds.

The following are state campgrounds close by:

Lake Bastrop State Park (12 miles)

Buescher State Park (20 miles)

Reservations for either one are made at the central reservation desk, phone # 512-389-8900

I just chatted with the Lake Bastrop folks and she mentioned that they are usually pretty full during the April timeframe, as it is spring break. So, if you want to camp there, you will have to make reservations IMMEDIATELY.

Apparently, Buescher doesn't get as crowded, but you probably need to check soon to make sure.
