I drank some green beer in Texas once...at an Astros game. It wasn't St Paddy's Day, and I don't think it was even supposed to be green. Whatever you do, don't drink Lone Star. Gawd-awful nasty...

I have desire to drink green beer or Lone Star, but think another pub night is due!

You want to drink Lone Star?!?!?!?!??!?!?  M'Lady, do you also enjoy riding the porcelain pony? Lone Star is one beer that makes Old Milwaukee taste like a premium beer.  All due apologies to our Wisconsin brethren, but...GACK!

Oops!  My dear Merlin, you caught my oversight!

You WERE just in a pub with your friends (for my birthday)! And best rum ever!
If you're not having fun, you're not doing it right!

That works for me as well, Gauwyn. If I have room in Homer, the Odyssey, I'll try to have some on-board in April. I carried some down last year and really enjoyed it.  (I rarely venture from spirits except for faire. It makes it all that much more special, methinks.)

Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

A long time former member of these forums, Lord Figaro passed away unexpectedly last week.  Some of us will be hitting Keegans in NE Mpls. to bid him farewell.  If you knew Fig, or just wish to raise a glass in his honor please feel free to join us Wednesday night.

Speaking only for myself...Fig was the kind of guy who would rather we down a wee dram than shed a tear.  Maybe we'll do both.

Because it's dull you twit, it'll hurt more. Now SEW, and keep the stitches small

Shall we say 7pm Dregie?

I will be there with bells on and my hot Scottish biker boyfriend in tow.

As usual, I will be unable to attend.  but I will drink a dram at home to his memory at 7pm.  and maybe every 5-10 min after that.
