Having arrived safely home after a really fun day at VARF - I wanted to thank everyone for an excellent time.  It was so good to see my faire family again, as well as greet some new cousins.

Tim T and Lady Jai's ceremony was excellent well - Fletcher was outstanding.

I send a special Huzzah to Mike and JoAnn for their wonderful hospitality -  they really went out of their way to ensure we were all fed and hydrated for the second half of the day.

Thanks everyone!

Lady de la Warr

We are glad you are home safely Milady!

Tim and Jaime's ceremony WAS very special. Thanks to them for having us all - and for that delicious cake!

We also second the huge HUZZAH to Mike and JoAnne. They are wonderful hosts and did a fabulous job making sure all were fed, hydrated and cooled off from the heat. The use of their RV was a life saver. Not only did they allow me to dress in there - which was awesome - but I think I would have not made it without the respite from the heat. I must admit I was having some difficulty because of the heat.

Thank you my friends - I wouldn't have made it without you!

Lady de la Warr

Oh goodness me!! And lest we forget..........

Many thanks to Scotsman and the lovely Lady Guinness for not only providing most wonderful company, but also for their provisioning of libations to include an assortment of ales, water, breakfast meats and cheeses as well as the meats for the lovely luncheon we had after the ceremony. Many thanks to you Milord and Lady for a delicious time!!  :)

Scotsman and LG were there?  Say it ain't so.. How could I have missed them?  I guess Scotsman was his normal retiring shy self and I just didn't pick him out of the crowd.

Lady de la Warr

Indeed they were Milady. LG left early as I don't think she was tolerating the heat very well. But I thought for sure you had seen Scotsman. I know you missed tailgate but he was in the pub later on (as usual)  ;)

*nudge*  Mein gott - you do realized I was joking?  We were together with the very obvious Scotsman all day...   - one is never in the vicinity of Scotsman without realizing it  - though I woudn't have it any other way.

My apologies Milady. It seems the Queen is a bit dense sometimes - LOL!

But yes - tis true that when in the vicinity of our good Scotsman you know it! Hence my confusion at your statement - but alas, again with the denseness ........ :-\

And I must thank you once again for the exquisite jewel you presented me!! It is absolutely resplendent and I will most definitely find a way to properly and prominently display it!!

A thousand times grammercy Milady!  :)

Scotsman

I guess I am late to this party ...

Did anyone else think it was hot on Saturday, or was it just me?

We had a great time ... Lady Guinness picked up a stomach bug but is feeling much better now. I believe the heat didn't help much either.

I want to thank James and Sharon for hosting us, Mike and JoAnne for cooking and cooling us and Tim & Jaime for trusting us not to ruin their day. The ceremony was awesome! I actually remember part of it  ;D

We are looking forward to our next adventure together. For LG and I it is to Celtic Fling in a couple weeks and then GLMF where we are gonna party like its 1599!

I would also love to echo all of the thanks that have been aforementioned. James and Sharon were gracious hosts, as always, and Mike and Joanne were absolutely incredible. Thank you for all of your efforts, your patience, and your beautiful and enduring smiles. We are so happy to have you in the family.

Jaime and Tim, your ceremony was beautiful, and I hope you will invite us to the next one (in another 16 years).

And Captain Fletcher, you are so cool! I just love you.

We had a wonderful time and are, very much, looking forward to the next one.

We love you all very much.

I,m glad that everyone made it home safely. We were a bit concerned because when we left the parking lot, they detoured us off the road and then we heard ambulances  coming down the road.

Michael and I enjoyed this weekend and I'm so glad that the RV was there to cool off those who needed cooling off .  It was a brutal weekend.

Thank you for having us in the M'Cracks Clan.

Thank you Scratch,n M'Crack for your beautiful gift of a baby dragon.

I can't wait to see you all at the next invasion.

I love you all!!   Respect M'Crack (JoAnne)  ;D

Well late to the party as usual but thank you all for coming!  I just wish I could have spent more time hanging out with you guys but it was fantastic to see each and everyone of you!  I WILL spend more time with you the next time we get together though that you can be sure!  I am glad that everyone enjoyed themselves and hope you all come back next year.  Lady M it was fantastic to finally meet you face to face!

Oh and here is a little secret.  Next time you see Captain Moone call him Sir Fletcher as he was knighted by the Queen Sunday!  Can't wait to see everyone again soon!
