New to the Nashville Area
« on: January 12, 2012, 04:23:38 PM »
Hi folks... I just moved down here from Maryland, and was hoping to meet some "Faire" folks.  Please email me via the forum if any of you have time to meet this weekend.  (Or whenever.)
Thanks!

Thanks.  I'm staying in the Antioch area right now, while I sort out the job situation and all that.  I'll come by the comic convention this weekend.  Which day is better?

Oh dear.  You just missed some of us who gathered Sunday for Guinness at Dan McGuinness Tavern and then many went on to dinner somewhere with music and fun.    I'll put a bug in some ears to make sure we post those gatherings on line here as well as FB.   I hope you are looking forward to May!    I know I am!  and Welcome!

Chattacon is a sci-fi comic con at the Chattanooga choo-choo it is this weekend.  http://www.chattacon.org/

Murfreesboro comic anime con is also this weekend in the boro same right off I-24 at the festival exit. smaller con smaller admission http://www.comiccitytn.com/Nashville_Comic_Con.html

Next month also at the Chattanooga Choo-Choo is ConNooga http://www.connooga.com/ Feb 17-19 I prefer ConNooga over Chattacon, newer con but much more organized than Chattacon.
