I watched the photographer at Penny's fight with a baby to put her finger down while doing her portraits, it took twenty minute! lol

To make us feel a little cooler this hot weekend... A couple of pictures from a holiday trip to New Hampshire a few years back...


Echo Lake near North Conway, NH. The sign says it all...


I believe this lake is called Hidden Lake, but that is Mount Washington (NH) in the background.
I liked this picture so much I have it on one of my credit cards (and hanging on my wall)!

Thank you, sir. It was really beautiful up there. While the upper shot has an amusing foreground, the pattern of the ice breaks, and the rock face in the far background are equally as interesting.

In the lower picture, the tree provides an almost lace-like window of the real beauty in the photo—the mountain in the distance. I'm not a good photographer. I'll takes hundreds of photos and only come up with a few really nice ones, but I actually did see something in the shot of Mount Washington and made a point to frame it exactly how you see it. It's probably my favourite photograph that I've ever shot, and I'm quite proud of how it turned out.
