I always have to get a new pair of horns for my collection. The Devil made me do it.......    ;)

Midsummer Knights Dream. I love to pet the fuzzy puppets. This year I had my heart set on a squirrel, only to find they are special order. But they did have one. I adopted it and off we went.

Otherwise the CDs and what ever peaks my interest.

Sometimes I look at clothes and think I can make that. So I get ideas too.

I look forward to finding new clothing and other pieces of garb. This year i'm looking for items and/or clothing for my wedding. I found my headpiece this year at the Des Moines Ren Faire  :D.

I was pleased to discover that Majikah Perfumery has a booth at TRF as well as Scarby.

Oil, gotta re-fill my potion bottle.  Brawins Tears, to be exact (it's vanilla-cinnamon-ish).

An ear cuff or ear wrap

A quicksilverment necklace (if I'm at a fire where they are)

Woodchuck cider  ;D

And a mug, of course!

I think the new thing will be something from Nigel Sade's booth.  They have the coolest stuff, I'll probably get a new bandanna every year at least.

First I look at the garb, cant justify the expense.  I have some beer and meade, go back and see the garb that I previouslly looked at and wanted.....Sold.  It's funny how libations loosen ones tongue, pocketbook, and well..... ;)

I do that quite a lot; however, it usually turns out that I buy a pattern, fabric and supplies, get the thing half done and it doesn't fit right or something went terribly wrong. Needless to say, I've ended up buying a lot more garb than I've actually made  :-\

Yeah, I cant sew at all, so garbing tends to get uhh pricey. However, I would rather buy it right the first time and be happy.

LadyAnna

I hope I remember that next time I get big ideas to sew =)

At OHRF, I always buy that years medallion and the new dragon (it's red this year!). I admit it, I love the knick-knacks that have the faire name and year on them as a reminder and momento of the fun times there.
I've always been one who likes to browse online and then buy it in person.
Griffin Leather is becoming a favored shop as well as Legacy Forge.

Hair wraps, except I now know how to do them myself. ;)  And it saves a lot of money at $20 a pop!

The Alfaro Drabbits made it to RPFS from Pennsylvania last year.  Hope they'll be back in 2010.

See Theresa at The HornSmythe to have some additional scrimshaw on the monster horn.

Check Stu Ableman's Art Glass and Paul and Marnie Taylor's jewelry booth.

If Reva Meyers of Amber Moon is around, see what treasures she's brought.

Heidi B at Pale Moon usually has something new and interesting.

See what Jim Hrisoulas (Atar) at Salamander Armory has.  Unfortunately, I've been picking up sharp pointies and whackers from him for so long, that it's a bit of a challenge to spot something.  (I've told folks that the pattern welded rapier isn't in my will since I plan to take it with me when I'm planted.)

See what new craftspeople have booths and take a look.,

Even though we've been doing Faire for so long, there's usually something new that deserves a look.

...And there's usually one or two specific things each season, as well.  We used to always, always buy oils from our favorite perfumer, but they've been absent the last two seasons :'( , and we've found a local mundane substitute (although hanging out at their shop and sniffing all the oils was one of our favorite things to do at fair).
