Well, truthfully I've never even had scotch before. So I wouldn't have known if it was bad, lol.

I recommend you try one of the Speysides (single-malts distilled with water from this river), which tend to be aged in sherry casks.  Macallan is one, but drink it gingerly.

I went to a Celtic festival at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Houston, TX, yesterday, and I took my flask.  I refilled with Macallan 18 and shared it with Zardoz's wife.  She is becoming a fan of the stuff.  Of course, Zardoz was there along with a couple of other rennies.  I remember their real names, but don't know their RF monikers, so I'll leave that them.
