Deez be some of my real hamsters...part of the brood that started this whole Hamster Craze thing.  (At one point we had 24 dwarf hamsters in our farm...we only have about 8 now.  They're all pretty old now.)

Unfortunately, the original forums no longer exist or we would be able to see some of the non sequitur hamster posts I initiated years ago as a means of easing tensions here on the boards. I first used hamsterness years ago to ease tensions at work. I remember Zoe posting that she had at least 19 hamsters and for a long time it was just the two of us until Hey Aren't You and Lady de Laney revived it and truly brought it to where it is today. (I can't believe I'm talking about hamsters like they are the Beatles...)

Apparently the hamster thing has now come to a point of contention- and people are correcting me as to my own involvement in the whole matter whenever it comes up- as it did at D&B's last night.

From the beginning, my small part of it it was intended only to be fun- and I had no desire to step on anyone's toes. So I will now bow out of it and let it be what ever it has become. I am truly sorry I have made this a point of contention as that was not my original intent.

Oh But you cannot bow out, You have ties to the Hamster King.Don't be a Hamster shaking in the shadow of a stupid Cat, ATTACK, We all know who is the founder and anyone who knows (You, Holier than though, Zoe, Hey , Toki and I all know) and that is what is important that you are the true ring leader. Do you expect me or Zoe ot hey to lead this into the next invasion. Come on now, even though the Hamsters were never what the Beetles were, they still are great, Besides what would you rather have sitting on your shoulder a Beetle or a Hamster/ I now Hey would say a Hamster as John, Paul, George and that other guy weight to much.

I don't think you've been stepping on toes -- which was far from my intent either, if I have done so.  And I second what Delaney has said - don't leave us!  It's all in good fun, as it has always been.  I know I missed whatever it was that happened at D&B but I can just say that it's silly that something like this has been so taken out of proportion.
