If you work at TRF can you tell me how the pass/id thing works? I sent my form in weeks ago and still haven't heard anything back and when I called they said they send that stuff to the vendor, well the lady I'm working for hasn't gotten anything back. I have no idea how this works. Where do we camp as employee's? and showers etc??

If your camping in participants, then you go in through Toon Town, you show your pass at the guard booth and then your in. The showers are right across from the EB.  Thats also one of the main exits and entrances into faire since it is right by the EB (it takes you in just behind Globe Theatre). Bring Shower Shoes as that bathroom can get down right gross.  The year I got most of my stuff from my vendor, however I had to go and have my picture done and received my pass at that time.

do not be surprised if your pass gets taken care of at the last minute, that happens a LOT. There's a building back by the back gate (participant's gate) that you go to when it's time to get your picture taken, so when you go do that you should hear something.

I photo copied my driver's license for Lost Island in 2004 and used the same picture for 2005.  I don' know if it's changed but I think it's a possibility.

** Note:  Toon Town is part of renfair drive.  There are a couple of areas that have some restaurant type places where you can get food, Yellow House, the Copper Rose, Rancho som'n..., only open usually Friday night, Saturday night, and Sunday night. **

performance company id requests went in this past weekend along with all relavent paperwork.  We will get ours from the Entertainment Building

As for Camping, as you look at the front of the Entertainers Building, to the right, those rows are mainly for camping with Generators.  It can be noisy at night with generators going bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and your trying to get some sleep.

Directly behind the Entertainment Building is primitive camping, ie, no electricity, running water, but the location is pretty much closest to the participant privies...toilets and showers avaialable.

To the left of the Entertainment Building is M.I.L. Camping and is marked accordingly with two small wooden structures flanking the entrance.

Further left is Primitive camping on the right side of the road, to the left side of the row on down about 5 rows or so is electric row.  Those spots are paid for out of pocket.  A couple hundred but I'm not sure exactly how much.  Those are pretty hard to miss with all the campers hooked up and lighted up with all their fancy pancy electric stuff.

After electric row further to the left is more primitive camping.  I wouldn't recommend camping past where the curve in the road goes left but hey, that's your choice.  I am already setup this year 2 rows to the left of the last electric row.  The tarp over the tent is grafittied with spray paint, it's hard to miss. -- for visitors to my camp, if I'm not there, please do not go through my things and take things, I don't make much money, nor do I have that much, but what I have I have worked very hard for it.  Thanks
