    Lojuela Castle is a ruin in Granada, Spain.map coordinates 36.946696, -3.577410Lojuelo is commonly considered a castle of the Muslim Era in Spain, circa 800-900 AD. But surveys of the ruin point to a Roman origin. The bases of the walls are stone masonry typical of Roman construction, while the upper walls are made of rammed earth and slaked lime.     Krivsoudov is a ruined castle in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.map coordinates 49.632535, 15.085891Originally built in the 13th century, the castle eventually came into the ownership of the Bishop of Prague. Very little remains of the original castle.     Château de Javarzay is located in the Poitou-Charentes region of France.map coordinates 46.109167 ,-0.082778The Javarzay castle was reconstructed between 1513 and 1515 by François de Rochechouart, governor of Genoa. Its one-time owners include the La Rochefoucauld family, the count of Pontchartrain (a minister of Louis XIV). All that's left of what was once the most imposing castle in Deux-Sèvres is the building bringing together the two towers and the chapel.     Dromagh Castle is located in the southwest of Ireland.map coordinates 52.12999, -8.97121 The are around Dromagh was a seat of the O'Keeffe family from about 908 AD.     Mortham Tower is located in England.map coordinates 54.522970, -1.868309According to the Domesday book, Mortham Tower was a fortified tower residence that belonged to Earl Edwin in 1066 and by 1086 belonged to Count Alan of Brittany. The original tower was built onto and around it for the next centuries.     Montgomery Castle is a stone masonry castle looking over the town of Montgomery in Powys, mid Wales.map coordinates 52.56253, -3.15061The original motte and bailey is now known as Hen Domen and was built at the order of Roger de Montgomery, earl of Shrewsbury sometime between 1071 and 1074.     Poelwijk Castle is located in Gendt, The Netherlands.map coordinates 51.871881, 5.965394 Already in 1275 a Van Poelwijck family from Gendt was known. This tower is all that remains of Poelwijk Castle today. It dates back to about 1441. This tower was originally the gate tower of the castle.
