Already There at Faire

I'm already at faire. At least in my mind. Have a Corsairs song stuck in my head (Highland Laddie). I have the good feeling I usually get just before opening gate. I have a craving for faire food.

The new armour I ordered last May isn't ready yet, but I can see myself huffing and puffing to finish parade in it.

I heard a loud boom while ago and was surprised it wasn't the opening cannon shot.

Hurry up faire, I need to be there.

Blue skies today made me wish it were Opening already...nothing better than perfect, beautiful blue skies on a faire day.

And walking down towards the Cat n' Fiddle, meandering from the White Horse to Rev and Troys...just...all of it.

I was there today on the Ivanhoe rehearsing drums for the Stardancers show!  It was perfect weather...I hope every day is as beautiful as today was 

BTW, I think I'll be drumming for them on 2nd, 4th, 6th & 8th Saturdays only.

well.. accessories are strewn about my room cleverly concealed as 'decor.' but the rest is tucked away cuz my room is small and gets smaller still when there are piles of mundane clothes dumped all over the floor! :O

My week has gone horrible so far and I'm ready to get out of mundania.

After my camera was giving me a lot of problems, and now that I got hurt at work and am sporting a lovely brace, its just reminding me that there is nothing that will stop me from being out at faire this weekend.

Having dinner with a certain pyratical man so legendary he is referred to as, "The Molden" helped a tad last night.

So please Friday, do me a favor, hurry the hell up and get here already!

That means... it's FAIRE!!!!!!!!!  Ummm... guess I'd better get my procrastinating hiney in gear!!!  I still have a load of laundry to do, and more the accessories to gather and stow.  I will have a bit of extra garb with me, in the form of skirts and a bodice, just in case there is anyone with a sudden garb malfunction.  See you all in less than 24 hours, I hope!!!

4th weekend was one of the best days we've had so far weatherwise. We finally go to see the Fire Whip show and it was marvelous. Its Monday and I'lm planning for this coming weekend already.
