Well, I haven't attended SRF in 2010, but here's a list that's divided into two sections - one of favorite performers who are currently at Scarby, and one of the performers I knew and enjoyed when I attended regularly in the late 90's:

## 2010 Stage Acts ##

(Musicians)
Queen Anne's Lace
Bard O'Neil / Jim Hancock Pub Sing
Rambling Sailors
Cantiga
Donal Hinely

Don Juan and Miguel
Doktor Kaboom!
Birds of Prey

## Late 90's Stage Acts ##

(Musicians)
Queen Anne's Lace
Gypsy Guerrilla Band
Cantiga
The Rogues
Terry Hinely and Glasnots / Donal Hinely
Amberhawke

(Stage Performers)

Don't forget there is a Gypsy Extravaganza, 330 on the Turtle Drome.  While not the great sensation that other acts are, the cast members do an improv storytelling.  Hilarious... and we can always use the audience support!   (And you never know if you will get pulled up on stage if you ARE in garb!!!)

I Love DJ&M, Cast in Bronze, MP3.  Cantiga is always well loved for playing at court Dance.  Gan Anim, the Scarby musicians do a pretty good round for Pub Sing.  Which this year, BTW, has been rather lightly attended.

There is always much to do and see, and NO two shows are ever exactly the same.

Marga/Jofranka.
Corp Capt Marga, Dame Den Mother, Scarborough Royal Guard.  Keeper of the Costume Closet.  Artist, Rennie, Etc, etc, etc

Where does the improv story-telling occur?

The Turtle Drome Stage is in the Holly Field (down to the far left when you come through the front gate), between the Kings Pavilion and the Peg Leg (Ship) Stage.

I'm sorry! I misread the post! I thought she was talking of two different things!  I'd better get a new pair of glasses!

What stage acts are ab/fab at SRF? Ab/fab is "absolutely fabulous" (no ref to the BBC show intended, BTW). Well...ALL of them, actually. But if you could only see a few, here are the must-see acts for the final 5 days of SRF 2010.

It is great to see Gordy back, we've missed Scratch. We loved Adam Crack and hope he makes it back again soon. The cast is all great, we appreciate you guys so much for providing something that I believe is one of the greatest escape for human beings anywhere!

My top 5 for the rest of the season would be:

5. Don Juan and Miguel, just can't get enough of those guys
4. Doktor Kaboom, we take every newbie we bring to see him (my son who was home from the Marines laughed so hard that he cried)
3. Cast in Bronze
2. The German Twins, they "got it goin' on" with their stage act. I remember when they were younger and just were strolling and flirting.
1. Iris and Rose, they have to be up there. When we don't bring young ones, we see them every time.
0. Okay, I added a numeral that represents everything else. Scarborough Renaissance Festival remains our favorite thing to do from year to year. Really, listing my favorites would just be best accomplished if you just went and read the entire Scarby program of cast and entertainers. Thanks to the lovely Queen Margaret for your part, and please thank the rest of the cast for all the laughter, the fun, the peace, the anticipation, the music, the dance, the adventure and excitment that you guys create! The only bad part, is when Scarby ends. We will see you this weekend...bringing a couple of newbies on Sunday! Here's to OUR Scarborough Faire, may she exist forever!
Ryk Rakham, scourge of the Red River
Rhyk Dragonfang

Jezz the Belle, scourge of the scourge
Lady Sherry

I really want to see the fire whip show when we are back for Memorial!  I caught a glimpse of it and have it on my 'to do' list.

*Ab/Fab, lol!  I could just see an episode of those two at faire lmao!*

Just saw on the TRF Facebook page that Adam Winrich - Fire Whip Guy will be at TRF this Fall.

Ok- I can't think of one that's not awesome. I just wish we had Owain Phyfe for more than one weekend.
I have really enjoyed Michael O'Quinn and his new partner Tobias. (Even though I have had Dark Lady stuck in my head for 2 weeks)
It was good to see Stonehenj back, we enjoyed their music at the Rose & Crown.

This Saturday you might get a treat if you come to the King's pub to hear Michael & Tobias at 11:00. Michael might be singing the second part of Carmina Burana.
