I called Granite City.  They do not take reservations or call aheads.  They seat on a first come first served basis.  They recommend one person show up early (like a half-hour to hour earlier) to guarantee a table at 7:30.  If my hubby agrees to watch the girls tonight for fae - we may be able to get their early and grab a table.
