     ( Besides good memories and new friends)

2. Where would could I adopt a hamster ?
     ( I couldn't make it to Scarby when adoptions was taking place.)

Demetrius would be a good souvenior to take home

Actually it depends on what you like. Raku is pottery that is wonderful. Renaissance leather is an outstanding place to get leather goods like bags, belts and such. They are a local only business that we all love.

A mug is nice as are the metal chalices at one vendor.

Hamster adoption is done though holierthanthough. Demetrius is also a good place to start as holier is his sister well not his sister but his sister.

Let us know the details so we can make sure we all find you... or you find us.

I agree with Lady De Laney. Those are all great ideas. If you want something with the Faire's Logo/Name, there are usually mugs of some sort, or T-shirts. I'm partial to mugs.

There are a lot of local artisans that you can get really unique stuff from.  If you like bodypainting (doesn't last but there are always pictures) we have a phenomenal artist in Mistress Charlotte.  Her art work is very affordable and beautiful to boot!  Won't cost anything to pack either.

There are adoption agents all around.  Some carry baskets, some have them in their pockets and some keep them at their booths.  If you see someone wearing one, ask and they will direct you to one of us I'm sure.

Holier Than Thou....I think that you might have slightly misunderstood the thread of the posts and the quotes. Lady Delaney wasn't implying taking Demetrius anywhere. It all had to do with souvenirs from Faire. Please understand that no offense was meant. Huzzah to Demetrius and yourself...and to the new wheels on Demetrius' cart! Toki.

As for other good souvenirs, that depends on your home faire, or other faires that you visit often.  Colorado has many lovely vendors to choose from, from all over the country even!

I call TRF as my home faire but love going to others as well. I have been to Four Winds and Scarby as well. I would love to vist all the faires and maybe one day I will.

I am collecting goblets and garb. Can't have enough garb and the goblets are good for mead.

I would certainly reccommend the glassmaker on the top of the hill up past the rose stage.  Lovely stuff.  And the Real Rose jewelry booth is also a special place, I haven't seen anything like her earrings and necklaces in my travels ...
