I would love to attend Bristol again this year but Mike will be gone during their run.  That said, I would still like to attend if there are more MN people going.  Last year we were there the same weekend as Leyla and Josh but had no interaction with the local R/F folks.   That was a bummer.

I will be going most of the run, but with working every other saturday now I miss some of them. That weekend I will only be there on the 8th.

I am going the weekend of July 17th as my birthday is the next week.  Bristol sounds like the right place to be for my 30th.

Bristol was fun last year, I may have to see what the schedule looks like.  Hummmmmm!

Steve and I go most Sundays, plus the Sunday/Monday of Labor Day weekend.

Our son is coming home from Boston July 17-25, so we won't be going July 18th.  He is going to a wedding on July 24th which is 3 hours away and supposedly driving back to Galena enroute to the airport on July 25th, so we may go on that Sunday depending on how long he will be here that day.

There is not a cohesive group of RF members at Bristol like there are at other faires.  I usually arrange the Meet & Greets every weekend, even on Saturday when we're not there, and from past experience, I can say that on most Sundays, it's only my husband, myself, wildthingjew, and Miss Katie Scarlett who show up.  Maybe things will change this year!

There's not a real cohesive R/F group that's true, partly because there's a very active Bristol Board group where most people get their info and get together on-line in the off season.  There's also a very vibrant Friends of Faire with a lot of overlap.

I would encourage anyone who comes to Bristol to find the Friends of Faire garden, it's near the Fantastikals Glen.  For the measly sum of $5 for the entire weekend, you have access to the garden with the cleanest privies and the shortest lines in Bristol, cold water and gatorade, tables and benches to sit, shelves in the back where you can leave your stuff (watched over mostly, definitely guarded if you slip us a dollar) and the nicest group of people you'd ever want to meet.

If you come 3rd Saturday or 6th Sunday, for an additional $5 you get to eat from our never-ending always-changing Feast.  We have a 9 foot grill where our chefs take raw ingredients and produce incredibly yummy meats and other delights.

Bumping this thread up...

We're getting closer, folks.  Any new peoples attending Bristol?  It'll be here before you know it.
