Making pancakes with my renlet this morning, and "letting" her pour, crack, mix, ladle and flip everything, then seeing the pleasure she took in eating something she made herself... and still telling me "I love you, you're the best", even though she did almost everything herself!  Even the dishes...

 My poor sick "Overly Familiar" was feeling better and ate a lot today! He suffers from sinus trouble. It makes him not eat.  Doing the happy dance. I hope he continues to improve.

Got to mow the lawn while the temperature was still down...a cool 99 degrees...

Hearing we are supposed to have 70s for the next week. yay!!

Where are you? Can I come visit?? Our cold front is supposed to drop the high temps down to 92... This is almost as bad as the Summer of 1980.

getting the last load of moms stuff moved out of my house and into her very own. (she has lived with me for the past 3 years)

Seeing the wonder in my daughter's eyes when she realized that, with the right tools, her designs can become more like what she pictures in her mind, and that learning technique doesn't necessarily mean doing things the way someone else wants her to do them, it just means she is beter prepared to share her own vision with the rest of the world...
