« on: August 31, 2010, 01:57:17 PM »
One day not far from now the nice peaceful town of Byllarica, England will receive a visit from Queen Elizabeth.  The whole town has been preparing for the Queen's arrival on October 2 and 3, 2010.  Join in the magic and fun of the Fisher's Renaissance Faire at Conner Prairie with Queen Elizabeth.

Rumor has it that at 10Am when the gates open there will be magic, fun, royalty, peasants, and of course... SURPRISES!!!

There will be all kinds of things happening throughout each day.  Look back here for more blurbs about what will be going on in Byllarica!

The "Kiwanisdictine" Order presents the Kids Karnivale!  A wonderful place for games, learning, and fun for the children.  Fight a friar, find your way out of a maze, or join in the archery contest that Robin Hood and his merry band present among other things!  The winner of the 1:45pm archery contest will receive an authentic (blunted) Robin Hood arrow (presented to the parents for safety.)  All contestants will receive autographs from Robin or any of his merry band.

Rumor has it that Sir Guy may show up at the archery contest so look out!

Not only will Friar Tuck make appearances but on Sunday 3 October Scottish Firebrand John Knox will be leading a Protestant worship service at 10:30am on the Conjurations Stage.  John Knox is traveling through Byllerica on his return to Scotland and this should be a magnificent service.

King Arthur, Robin Hood, Peter Pan, and others Heroes from your favorite British stories are rumoured to be appearing in Byllarica! Lancelot, Mordred, Will Scarlet, Guy of Gisborne, Friar Tuck, and Maid Marian will all be at the fair as alive as anyone. Come ask all those questions you have.
Will Arthur attempt to retake the throne?
What does Mordred have in mind?
Will Robin and Will Scarlet liberate your tax money from the tax collector?
Will Peter Pan ever grow up?
Come find out at the Fishers Renaissance Festival!
