Yep...I marched with the Scots in the parade.... first time ever I had to dismiss myself at the end. Brutally hot.

Now.... the Mrs. has made her a new cloak..... she is anxiously awaiting Faire to show off her new duds and she's begging me to teach her the chant of making.

If anyone cares, there will be the same King Henry VIII and Queen Anne Boleyn as well as Queen Margaret o' Scotland, just in-case you were wondering.

We could not imagine otherwise. Here's to a great season in 2011!!

We had a wonderful time at Scarby last year at RenDezvous.  One of the acts we enjoyed was Michael O'Quinn.  Even though we won't be back for a visit this year, he was really good!

I'll try to share this with him, knowing that he'd appreciate the fans from afar.
Still Meggers, just a little more grown up now. :)

But of course Majesty.........we are certainly glad that you guys are there, always. It wouldn't be the same place without our marvelous Royals!! Best of luck for a grand season!

What he means, of course, is "Break a leg", but preferably not your own...  ;)   ;D

Merlin

I spoke with the Fire Whip guy, Adam Winrich, and he is going to be at Scarby for the entire rune of the show this year.

His show is AWESOME ... a must see.

Hercules

Since Fire Whip is scheduled for the entire run I wonder if that means Dr. Kaboom won't be back...?  :(
Save the Earth (it's the only one with beer)!

LadyStitch

Don't know, maybe they moved him to another stage.  I know of at least one performer that lost his slot this year  :(   Maybe Dr. Kaboom took that slot.
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

BagPipeBabe

Dr.Kaboom wed site say he will be at scarby only one weekend  :-[
May 28-30

cyberrennie

Dr. Kaboom plays mostly indoor stuff now, and some big venues, 1 show/day.  I have a feeling he'll be bigger than Bill Nye in a few years. As far as I know, Scarborough is the only RF he does now...

BagPipeBabe

He said last year when he was at scarby that it was the only ren fair he will do now.

Hercules

I heard that from Kaboom too. Wish it were more then just the closing weekend though.

We can remind him of that when he throws ice in his hat again to "invent" air-conditioning!  :D  :D
