Renaissance in the Glen, July 28-29, in Glenwood, Wisconsin

Featuring the entertainers guild from the Chippewa Valley Renaissance Faire, and more!

This is a small startup faire just to get things going. Suggested donation $5. 10 am - 7 pm both days.

Description:

Come all ye lords and ladies, rogues and wenches alike, to the first-ever Renaissance in the Glen! This is a chance to witness the birth of a Ren Faire, one weekend only, in a wondrous place known simply as The Glen.

Located in the aptly-named town of Glenwood, Wisconsin, our faire is about 45 miles east of the Twin Cities, and just north of the city of Menomonie, about 15 minutes off I-94.

Come in costume and enjoy the music, food, and drink!

DIRECTIONS FROM THE INTERSTATE (I-94):

Take I-94 to Hwy 128 Glenwood City/Spring Valley exit (exit 28 north).

Go north on Hwy 128, 12 miles toward Glenwood City.

Take a right on County Hwy G and head into Downing.

Take a left (north) onto 170 in Downing.

Go about a quarter mile, crossing a bridge, and GO STRAIGHT (right) off 170 onto Dunn-St.Croix Road. (Going left will take you into Glenwood City). Note: Dunn-St.Croix Rd. is labeled 50th St. on some maps.

Go a half mile, and the faire is on the left. The address is 1442 Dunn-St. Croix Rd.
