Word has reached us that Patrick Halloran, the lead singer of Ceann, died in a car accident today in Vermont.  The band Facebook page contains several postings concerning it.  No further details are available yet.

Patrick was a talented guy and will definitely be missed - you could feel the shockwaves through the American/Irish pub music world today. I hope Ceann carries on and keeps the spirit alive for him.

A Memorial Service will be held in Allentown, here are the details and directions http://www.maingateclub.com/Directions.aspx

The memorial service/wake for Patrick will be held on Saturday, February 19th at the Main Gate in Allentown. We'll start at 11:00 a.m. for the formal(ish) service, after which there will be food and a few hours of music and more words; bring your instruments/stories. A formal announcement is coming, but I know... some of you were waiting on a date so you could arrange for transportation. Travel safely.
