Belts and Picadils

If you have a bodice with picadils, do you wear your belt on top, or under?  I'm leaning towards on top.

My belt isn't very wide so I wear it on top of my bodice.  Makes it easier to hang my mug, sword, pouch, and skirt hikes.

On top.  Otherwise, on mine at least, the belt would be too low and then I would have to decide what to do with the "bunches" of bulky fabric that make up the looped tabs.

When I wear my wenchier Bodices with picadils or peplums, I wear my belt over the bodice at the waist. No problems with pouches or tankards.
