WOOT!!!  Oh, how cool is that?!?  I wanna see one!  Well, I want to BUY one, but that may have to wait a bit...  You'll be doing another Con soon, though, right?  And this time you'll have the books!!!

I'm still waiting to hear how your first game went...

despite not make a profit I had a great time, I wish now I had just paid to get in instead of the trade, I agreed to face paint kids 10 and under for 3 -3day passes. The hotel was right at 275.00 and then food was so damn expensive I knew I should have stocked a ice chest before we left. Over all it was AWESOME! Nikki looked fab! Meeting Terrence Z of REpo was a real treat, he stopped and chatted with me on Sunday I had to show him my FacePainting box has "Chase the Morning, Yield for Nothing " painted on the inside around a mirror, he took a picture of it :) We went to the ball stuff on Friday and Sat, the Zombie ball wasn't much of a ball. Saturday night the SteamPunk ball was starting off great with canned music and a HUGE conga line then this band got on stage and the room emptied. I didn't get hardly any picture and am bummed didn't get any of the kid and I in our steam punk or our goth stuff. I packed a tripod and hubby took it home on Friday when he left WTH? oh well lesson learned, you want a picture of yourself in a labor of love costume stop and ask someone :)
Hope I get to go next year!

Shandi, I know the feeling. Without any books to sell, it was a wash financially. We got our name out there and networked quite a bit, though, and overall we had fun.

Rani- seriously, look how bloody thick the thing is compared to the old AD&D manual-

We now have a game manual that is thicker than most college textbooks :o
Author, bladesmith, and fuzzy teddybear.

"I've fought my wars and drank my mead in this life, the afterlife for me will be one endless renaissance festival with an old-school tabletop game store the size of a Costco next door ;D " - me

I'm impressed!  It's got all your spec sheets for weapons, ships and creatures also, right?  How much, and where can I buy it? I wanna play!!!

Well Darn! Looks like everyone had a great time. Hated to see Breandan's books were late, but good to read you got invites to future Gen Cons.

We had plans to show on Sunday, but the evil witch thought she had broken her foot earlier in the week and could not do the walking thing. (doc says only bruised yesterday)

Seems like I can't get a break to actually meet people in this city. :P :-[

Oh well, batch'in it this weekend and think I may take the GOAT downtown to see if I can p*&ss people off.

Currently, as I'm typing this message, there are 125 photos that I shot today at Comicpalooza uploading to my Flickr account.  It takes a while to transfer 650+ MB, even with the 3-5 Mbps upload speed that ATT UVerse provides.  I'll also upload them to a Facebook album, so people can be tagged.

Included in the photos are various people you will know from Texas Ren Fest and the RF Forums.

EDIT: The 125 photos from Comicpalooza are now up on -

You're welcome!

For some reason, that photo link isn't working.

I believe I've got two shots of your husband -

Also, I had no idea that Cali was so tall!   ;)  :D
