My wife and I are looking forward to being able to go again this year.  We are trying to figure out which weekend to go to this year, we usually end up going on Romance, Pirate, or Highland themed weekends.  (We have also made it to a Taste of Sterling a time or two.)  This year we are thinking of going for the Knights and Heroes weekend or the Renaissance Man weekend.  Are these new themes for this year, they don't sound familiar?  Or is the knights and heroes weekend another name for the kids theme weekend?  i know Renaissance man themed weekend doesn't sound familiar to me at all.  Oh, well, anyway we are looking forward to spending the day wandering around, spending money, and just enjoying to whole day.

Any particular new activities or specials planned for this wondrous 35th anniversary?

The Knights  and Hero's weekend , and  Renaissance man weekend  appear to be new themes for  this year.
Sterling will continue  to have the favorite theme weekends of the last few years...those being Pirate weekend, romance weekend, and Highland  fling  weekend.

Children's weekend is opening weekend  this year .

Hope this helps . :)

Descriptions for "Knights and Heroes" and "Renaissance Man" weekends sure would be helpful.

How about a '35th reunion' of actors past? That would be so much fun!

Knights and Heroes weekend is for police, firefighters and our military. Just like their discount. They deserve it as they do a lot and risk a lot. Now if I can only talk Sir Douglas into giving us medics and rescue people a discount. lol Still, I'm grateful they are having a special day for them as they do a lot that people are unaware of.

Ah, well that's good to know. I never would have guessed that based on the name alone (though it fits once you explain it). So does the Renaissance Man weekend offer a discount to artists with a good grasp of the sciences?
