I found out about a renaissance festival documentry called "Renaissance Faire: One Year of Building the Past"

It's going to be mainly following the Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Festival, all the way to the 2012 season. It's going to show what goes behind the scenes of making a faire a magical place! I think it's also going to include additional faires, and interviews. So far, the project is in the funding stage. I would like to see this become an actual documentary. I think it would be worth watching! There's a website to go to, where you can support the project, if you want.

what about a town directly designed after the time, livable and workable and is a town not just a festival.
