to pass on some information i unfortunately ran across on facebook and her own website:

On August 16th, 2011, approximately a year after diagnosis with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Liz (Renaissance Faire Junkie) died from the progression of the disease. She died quietly in her sleep, at home.

Considering how much I enjoyed looking at her photos of Faire in the late 90's, it's interesting to read on the Memorial Guestbook that we were working for Convex Computer Corp. at the same time in the late-80's and early 90's - and I don't remember meeting her.  I'm not positive what sort of engineering she was doing at Convex, but I was working as a Hardware Test / Repair Technician.  I wish I had met her and found out about Scarborough Faire in the 80's, rather than not hearing about it until the mid-90's.
