No date has been set as of yet. I think we're waiting for cooler weather so MTE doesn't melt.

About 40-50 of us, including the Queen of Scotland and her husband, just went to Killeen for a gathering at the Tilted Kilt followed by a pool party after.
The Queens Own Highlanders also go to the Scottish Rites Childrens hospital to do visits. Some of us go on motorcycle rides and do small luncheons as well.
There's also usually a big July 4th party out in East Texas.

Since we aren't talking being in garb, the heat is less of an issue... Are we talking a whole weekend of debauchery? ...or as much debauch as an elderly wizard can muster up...  Suggest some dates, if you want to get suggestive...  We'll need a little lead time, because Nim doesn't get as much leeway as I do on time away.

Want to aim for a 3 day weekend? (Though not everyone gets the same holidays off!) The next one for us would be Labor Day (Sept). Totally understand others have family things to do on weekends like that. Our family consists of me, Sidekick and Progidal Daughter. Since PD works in retail, we can never count on her availability so we are pretty lax about those things!

TRF starts Oct 6-7, which reminds me I need to make reservations for Oct 13-14 to harass see Melrin, Jr!

Will Melrin be in grab?  ... Backward letters are, eh Yoda?  I guess I should check to see when classes resume. That could have some bearing on when. A weekend or two have events that I may be required for... I never know.
