I didn't think to count St Voloc and NTIF. We have Saturday and Sunday shifts at NTIF. but not in garb!

I've only seen you once without your clothes!
anywhere but here that would be a leading statement. LOL. ;D

To most people, this might sound like symptoms of a serious disease, but we plan to FLARF, BARF and GARF this year. It'll be opening days for each plus St. Molden's Day at BARF.

That is, by the way, Florida Renaissance Festival, Bay Area Renaissance Festival and Georgia Renaissance Festival.

We hope to get to Tennessee this year as well. After that, we'll see ...
I love the way you put that.

I'll be at GARF to open my Hairbraiding and Henna shops, then leave it to crew for a couple of weeks; so that I can help The Hubby open our new food shops at OKRF.

Then we both will do the entire run of NYRF (Tuxedo) (Hairbraiding, Henna, and Food)
and the entire run of TRF. (I'll be running Queen's Pantry, and the Husband will be running his fruit shops)

... and then we fall down.

The wife and I are planning on attending as many weekends of Sherewoof Forest Faire as possible, along with the Celtic Festival.  We'll try to make the big three weekends at Texas Renfest again as well.

Scarborough starts right after Sherewood and conflicts with my wife's big birthday party and our anniversary- which occur in the middle of its season. I'm not sure we'll make it this year.

I too, shall be BARFing, FLARFing on opening weekend, Hoggestown, John Levique Pirate Festival, and St. Augustine Pirate Gathering. MDRF is always a good time on Labor Day. TRF is (again) on the tentative schedule. Schedules get dodgy in the fall...

But I have freed up some time during July.  I'm really looking forward to my first visit to Sterling!

You'll be at FLARF opening weekend too? We have GOT to have a meetup. I'll go post something on the (often vacant) FLARF forum.

Merlin, we HIGHLY recommend the Kansas festival.  We have been many times, and have even joined their cast as guest performers.  It boasts one of the loveliest sites and one of the best performing casts we have encountered.
I concur! KCRF has a lively crew, with near constant public interaction.
The last time I was there (2006) I really enjoyed the fact that the court was the most HA I had ever seen.   Costumes were impeccable, the actors actually looked like the people they were portraying, and their mannerisms, accents and gestures were very entertaining.  The addition of the over-the-top Vulgarian Court was great.
What doesn't kill me-had better run.

Craigmeister

There are some good travel plans in this thread (esepcially yours, Lord Clisto).

Does anyone else have 2 events to attend in 1 weekend?  I'm going to the Norman (OK) Medfaire the first Friday in April for the day.  The next morning, I get to travel to the Renaissance & Fantasy Festival of the Ozarks in Fayetteville, AR to set up my tent for the weekend.  It's about a 2 hour drive to each event from the homestead.

Craigmeister--yup, I do! Closing weekend of CTRF (Robin Hood Springtime Festival) and opening weekend for NJRF overlap so I'll go to NJRF opening day on Sat., June 1, and CTRF closing day on Sunday. Both are about 2-1/2 hours from my house in opposite directions.  You won't hear me complaining, though!  :)
I came, I saw, I skipped to my lou.

As of right now we are looking at just Scarby and TRF.

The PP's robin hood themed show opens the week before Scarby and runs through May 11th.  The other Flamingo brother plans to come visit during that time.  With him here you KNOW that we will be going to Scarby. How could we not?  ;D Otherwise I know we will be going opening Saturday, and maybe closing weekend. We shall see.

Edit:  Ooops forgot the annual Consillium invasion of TRF in November.  Should be interesting going to faire with a toddler. Granted she how has her lamb toddler backpack and I'm making her a little scottish dress to go with it.
It is kind of strange watching your personal history become costume.

Alas, Rowen, the Vulgarian Court is no more.  Sigh.
