Festive greetings, all.

I don't know anybody, but if you see me (tall, thin guy, white cap, red shirt, little backpack, maybe a couple of cameras), please say hi. I will probably reply in a civilized manner.

I'll be there today after 3:30 pm (working this morning), look for a guy with a shaved head in black tights, a green shirt and blue Nobles robe at the Guiness Pub.  If I see you, I'll be sure to make your acquaintance!

LadyAnn.....Thanks for the compliment, I cannot wait until the 24th to see that beautiful smile of yours in person once again.  Barb was disappointed to find out that you wouldn't be there opening weekend!

31 days and counting down.  As much as I would like it to be sooner, such would also cause a shorter faire.
You do not need a patch or badge on your sleeve to show you have honor.

Dwyn and I (and probably some other GLMF-ers) are looking forward to a small invasion come Labor Day Weekend...I'm SO going to need a Faire fix by then!!! Owain Phyfe and the Guinness Pub and all the friends and fellowship MiRF has to offer? I can't wait!!!!

Till then, I remain yours ever,

Captain Morgan Dunne

We were there Opening Weekend and are planning a return trip for Closing Weekend!!!
Hope to meet a few more of you then!!!

This Sunday, August 24th will be the first trip to Hollygrove for me this year.  Will be there with camera in hand.  I'll be garbed as I am in the avatar, though with a bow in hand instead of the staff and quiver of arrows across my back.  (Should be a challenge lugging a camera around this year with the bow and quiver.)

Agreement with all regarding the Queen.  She is a beautiful and elegant lady, so full of talent, wit and charm.  I would love to say something reasonably intelligent to her if permitted, by can't seem to even manage to get out "Your Grace" properly when she is around. Tossed her up a rose at the end of last year's festival and I should of been arrested by Her royal guards for such a clumsy and awkward display.

Looking forward to another outstanding year admiring all you fine Ladies & Lords who are full of so much talent and show!

(Photos from last year and some previous years. This year's will be coming after Sunday.)

I was blessed and lucky to meet several wonderful folk from the list, always when I was running off to be somewhere. Which meant no meaningful conversation, but I sure did enjoy meeting some of you. I'm easier to catch between ten forty five and noon. At noon I can be found between the beer and wine dealers to the right as you enter the festival, or strolling around the front gate showing couples how to hold hands and such. Please seek me out. I love meeting people.
