I got the grill cleaned up. will pack the van Friday. I have to work Friday night (CRAP!!!) so I will be meeting Jenn there. Im gonna be tired but it's going to be so much fun.

I am thinking of maybe bringing hot dogs or meat for burgers for lunch, I will need a break and a snooze in the middle of the day. If you want to bring food to cook so be it, we are bringing a cooler.

Opening day is almost here!  So what time do the parking lot gates open again?  I've been looking forward to this breakfast since end of faire last year!

I do believe in past years that the SS night crew was responsible for unlocking the entrance gates to the parking lot.  Mostly that process can take place anywhere between 6:30AM and 7:30AM.  From what I've been told, things have changed a little with the shift start and end times for night crew and day crew.  So I couldn't say when they would be opened.

Last year they where pretty consistant with opening them at 8. Even if small group started chanting "open the gate" before that, not sure who they where...

As far as I can recall, parking gates have always opened at 8AM every year I've been going. The line forms before that of course, with a few of us in that line. It doesn't always work out that we can go in by the second gate though. But I've never had a problem parking in the grove when we tell them who we are.

Last year was the first year I could come that early and stay all day... So yeah 8:00 am last year.
