Well ... It appears that I have the MDRF to look forward too, as well.  A good friend just moved to Germantown, MD recently, *snip*

Well how interesting is that...........I happen to live in Germantown, MD as well. Very cool - another rennie in the neighborhood!

Welcome, Frederic, to our neighborhood...looking forward to it, and, its LESS than 10 months away!!

Halloween was lacking in my parents neighborhood this year.  Alot of people with their lights off, and not as many kids.  My mom had 10 tons of leftover candy (we trick-or-treat there since there are a bunch of kids my children's age and the houses are close.  I live in the boonies, afterall.)

Course that's all they wanted to eat for breakfast this morning. *SIGH*

I think I can talk Lady Guinness into coming up ... we just have to decide if we will do it Wed or Thurs.

Bel Air right? I will wait and see what Amras & Black Fox decide. Typically if Black Fox is game we go to Bel Air - if he can't attend we will probably go to Arundel Mills. It really does not matter to us ... we will look for any excuse to see you guys off season.

Lady Elfwine and I will be recovering from our Texas expedition over those days, so we will have to see...

...my advice, if you want to go to DuClaw for a release, is not to wait on anyone else to say "I'm going"...just simply go to your closest DuClaw, and you will be surprised whom you see. I've never been to a release where I didn't see several other MDRF regulars there, at BelAir, Fells Point, any of them...so, to paraphrase a certain 1st Lady..."Just say yes....and go!"

Tonight, the ceremonial water proofing of the Medeival Moccasins...they are so ready for next season!!

You get "freebies" on the release nights if you do. And, the full schedule is laid out for the whole year.

Things like this only increase the speed with which the off-season days and weeks fly by (already up to nearly "plaid-speed").

what do we do to pass time during the off season? Why,we have Scotsman star in the 0930 Tartanic show at TRF on my cell phone...film at 11! (The phone connection died before they send the upkilt phone-cam pic... )
