I & my SO are on for Nov. 1.

In the vein of meeting people, do you guys plan ahead to meet up with fellow R/Fers (or anyone else for that matter) or just spy someone you know from a distance and go up to them? I guess something in the back of my head always tells me that it'll be creepy if I walk up to someone and say "I recognize you from a picture online... I think." or something :P

Lord Caleb

Some people do plan ahead to meet others. Most just walk up and say hi. I've been going to CRF for a while now, but I don't know that many of the 'regulars' so I always get a kick out of it when people walk up and introduce theirself. So yeah, if you spot someone you think you know, walk up and say hi. Chances are they'll appreciate it and be glad you did! =)

I have my pirate outfit all ready for A Pirate Weekend (November 8 & 9). That's also the weekend I'm meeting Nathan (a guy i met online). I'm nervous about it, but trying not to be.

The only meet up ahead of time at CRF that I know of will be the final weekend with the big R/F invasion and gathering of the Clan M'Crack. Otherwise, it catch as catch can or just make arrangements within the thread to say meet up at one of the pubs or shows. The corner down by the Medieval Margarita Pub is very popular and you can usually find some of us sharing a pint and a story or two.

Al and I will be there for the 8th instead of closing weekend. (I work every other Saturday and apparently can't keep track properly, lol.)

Malkavian

The way things are looking I'll be there this weekend (at least one day) and closing weekend (at least one day)

With luck I'll even overcome my terminal shyness and say hi to some of you guys  :-\ (But if i DON'T, here's my permission up front to shout and wave if you notice a shaggy haired guy with glasses, a goatee and a nikon.  Yes, I do answer to "hey Malkavian")

JessicaB

Malkavian, will it be better if we shy folk plan to meet up somewhere to make ourselves acquainted with each other? ???

Pinn

Please don't be shy around Clan M'Crack. We may do something ::)

If I could easily point out any of the Clan, I'd come over and say hi... but I fail at recognizing people usually :P

Feline Groovy

Oh that's easy!  Look for a bunch of guys in saffron kilts with mugs in hand.  ;)

Would it help if you had a HUGE button to wear that said, 'I'm shy, please talk to me'?  (Yes, I can actually do this if you want it.  :D   )
Where was I going and how do I get there?

JessicaB

If it would amuse you to do it, sure :D
Saffron kilts, got it. Will keep an eye out.

I'm so easily amused...   :D
Win.
Don't think they could have it for me by Saturday though :p
Maybe I can make my own... *insert minor plotting here*
