Nox Arcana does a good rendition of this ballad on their winter majesty album . there are quite a few renditions /versions of this ballad. I love good medieval music while on the lappy all the while delving ever soo deeper into renaissance/medieval life and times. It puts me in a good mood for sure. Perhaps I was born far too later in life! I'd be willing to go back to say the 1600's. I think I could deal with that "minus the plague".
Or just take back a year 1600 chap or lass and let them be blown away with out technology and our version of renaissance / medieval times. oh well enough ranting. good health to the company and fair the well.

We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are---
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
