Delaware's tall ship will be visiting New Castle, Delaware (my home town) August 22nd to September 3rd. If you would like to tour a 17th century replica ship and visit a historic 17th century town, take advantage of this event. There is a wonderful pub just down the street from the wharf, Jessop's Tavern, which has good food and a nice selection of beers.  See links below:

Battery Park is only a mile away from me, so I will probably bicycle over to visit. In nice weather there is also a hot dog cart on the side of the wharf.
