You caught me jumping to Gravel Walk   ;D  I was holding the phone out so my daughter could hear it, as it's her (and my) favorite tune.

I was glad to see Queen Elizabeth flitting around.  Also glad she didn't pass out!  It was hot, humid, and no breeze.

Queen Margaret looks different somehow...

Lilaney, what is the back story on this?!?

Ummm... is sooth?
He asked me too. He donated his hair to Locks of Love.

In faith, he was my betrothed and I had cold feet.
I knew if I hacked off his hair, he would break the betrothal.
So, it would not be my fault at all when I tell my father I
was 'dumped' by the most eligable bachelor of the court.
(Daddy being the tax collector and all, he liked the color of
Sir Henry Norris' coin.)

It was supposed to be "a snippet of hair to remember you by" as the line went, but she had the big shears instead.  It got really funny to those of us who knew what was to happen, and shocking to those that didn't.  Look at some of the faces of the court women in the background in various photos, there are expressions from disbelief to shock.

It was funny, Lil, since the scissors were newly sharpened - but to be used closer to the tips.  They couldn't "snip" through the hair, so it was a hack job - and you two kept it going like troupers!!!

(And he sent the hair to Wigs for Kids, and he intends to let it grow back out for Faire...)

Sweet!
I wasn't sure which Non-profit he sent it too.
Thank you!
