Labor Day Weekend!!

we'll be stopping at Joanns on way down and then setting up camp so I dont think I'll make it to a pub night but if you end up going DB give me a call!

Well I finally got things caught up with my agency so I can start picking up extra shifts. Bad part is I have to start this weekend. So it looks like 8 12 hours (edit) shifts in a row for me starting tonight. So no fest this weekend unless I get cancelled Friday night. With my luck that will happen, but them Im out a ton of money. If you see me Saturday yippee, if not have a few drinks for me as I will be slaving away.

Still have grocery shopping to do that night, as well as replace the airmatress with a fouton matress, move a small freezer from Bad Manor to the new Tea shoppe by front gate....

By that time, I may need a drink or two.  Perhaps I can convince the lady.!?

Saturday is the plan, from first to last.

PLEEZ make sure there is some mead left in the morning?  I will be sad if I have driven near-6 hours to get a whole lotta nothin'

I'm sure that there will be no problem getting mead on Saturday morning Doc.  It's monday that you have to worry about!  I plan to drink the Mead booth out of at least one type of mead by Monday morning!

It just gets better. I just got a call from a good friend. I totally forgot he and his wife are coming in tomorrow for a week. And they are staying with us. So I guess I prolly wont be working and will be playing. I have to talk it over with Jenn but I think I should take them too Fig's. Unfortunatly Casey is gone at her Grandparents so we dont have a babysitter this weekend. My plans keep changing like the wind.

Our plane doesn't land until 5:25 pm (Minnesota time) tomorrow so I doubt we'd be able to do anything on Friday...I expect we'll arrive at our hotel around 7 pm.
The Marquis and I and Sir Scott and Lady Jessanne and Davood and Mojgan (I think) are all staying at the Best Western Chaska River just over the bridge from the fest.

I'm soooooo ready for this vacation...I'm already there.

I am out tomorrow night for Pub Night too.  Too much grocery shopping and weekend stuff to do so I can play on Saturday and Sunday.

our clothes washer died and the new one we ordered won't arrive until Tuesday, so I had to borrow the neighbors' washer to make sure I had clean shirts for the weekend and all the dust was washed out of the display sets of our fabric games.

Apparently I did win the bet....but I won't say absolutely until Saturday morning.  The Marquis is tricky that way.

The Marquis will be donning a *ahem* "kilt" of sorts.  I couldn't convince him to don one of my great tartans but I did make him a kind of great kilt.  Only The Marquis would have come up with this idea...it's all his doing.

At any rate...it will make for much conversation of the "Auld Alliance" between the Scots and the French.

I will kinda be a solo act this weekend now...

Many of you (those who follow my myspace page) know of Gins moms situation. It has taken a turn for the worse.

Her mom does not have a lot of time left.

Gin has a lot of time off from work banked, and is now taking it to be with her mother...

I will be at faire this weekend as a solo act, except for the day that my mother (once again those who follow my myspace know about her battle too) and my godmother will be with me.
