We will be hitting the road around Noon on Friday ... and expect to roll into town around 7ish on Friday evening ... traffic willing!

Scotsman, looks like we're following the same schedule.  We're also leaving around 12, driving down from Cambridge, Ontario, should take about 7.5 hours.  (My husband insists he can shave at least an hour off of that, lord help us all)

I am almost finished everyone's new garb.  My 8 year old son is "allowing" me to dress him as a knight.  He's insisting that the animal on his tunic be a penguin though...........we'll have to gently steer him towards a lion me thinks

With the "weed puller U ME" discussion in mind...let's not assume anything. Last year there was an effort to set times to 1) Meet in the parking lot before the gates open, 2) A "lunch" time/location and 3) a time to meet at the pub for a group photo...3pm on Saturday I believe it was. Shall we try to arrange anything? Thoughts anyone?

We think 3pm at the Aleing Knight Pub for group pic is a great idea. Last year we did a group pic at the front gate before opening too, do we want to try that again??

on the topic- "Our New Queen Elizabeth", our Queen (Lady Riddle) has informe'd us that she has a window from 2-3 pm of wonder'n time. this would be the time we would have to arrange a group photo if we wish her (Queen Elizabeth AKA Lady Riddle) to jion us.
so, R & B, how does 2:00 - 2:30pm sound, at the Ale'n Knight ?
as far as the Pic taken outside the gates- me Belle and me want to be at the gates for our support for our Lady Riddle's new position. if the photo was plann'd for say 10 am (30 minutes prior to open'n of Gates), then we would not interfere with "Open'n of Gates". what say all of you ?

  The sign in book is at the booth on the shelf behind where I demo.  Its a real treat to get to meet everyone as they come to sign in. 

The banner, of course, is also welcome at the booth.  I'll figure out a way to display it out front.

yes good Scotsman, at the Pub (now there are five pubs at Willie Nillie by the Wash). so the "Ale'n(Aleing) Knight" is the large Pub next to the jousting field.

2:30  -  R/F Group photo Op near the Ale'n Knight Pub
           Including Queen Elizabeth.
6:00  -  Day's end at OHRF and ON TO THE CASTLE

Between the hours of 2 and 2:30 I shall be on my way to the Aleing Knight Pub for a photograph with the R/Fers.  I am so excited to mee everyone and see everyone again!!

Looking ahead at the weather for the coming weekend, it may prove to be a tad...damp in ol' Willy Nilly...so please dress accordingly!
