Jack and Wenchie split up two years ago.

Jack and I had this planned out quite a while ago...we didn't want to reveal it until we posted it in El Lobo.

The Readers' Digest version--

Honour wanted Jack to give up the sea. On their way back to Barbados, they encountered his mortal enemy, Diego de Castille y Mendoza. A battle resulted, the ship was practically destroyed, and Jack took a hit that almost killed him. Honour dug the ball out of his shoulder and saved his life.

However his ego took a few hits and he took it out on the person closest to him. His wife. Yeah, we all know how that goes....

Tavern talk, misunderstood intentions, no communication, pride....all added up to a feeling of 'this just isn't going to work out'.

And she figured he didn't want a baby in his life so she left.

Sound about right, Jack?
I thought so!

OH, and.....HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO EL LOBO DEL MAR!! We started that two years ago today!!
What a long, strange trip it's been.....
