We are going camping with Cub scouts next weekend! It should be a blast!
(at least I have high hopes, I was a Camp Fire Girl, so this is all new territory for me)

I am wondering who will get cabin fever first out of our bunch now that we are
back at sea!!

Lil have a great time. Be careful, I started with a son in Tigers, and now I'm a Scoutmaster with a son working on his Eagle Project. Get in the right pack and troop and its a great time. I'm scheduled to take the boys sailing in the Florida Keys for a week in June 2009!

Ok, I've opened the chest and come to a natural stopping point, just in case anyone is anxious to get a post inj otherwise. I'll continued  on in the next post. I wonder what part of the saint would fit in such a small chest that one could carry under one arm?

I miss the scouts.  I'm an Eagle who beacame a Assistant Scoutmaster, who tried to for a Venture Crew.  Obviously it did not work the way i wanted.  But never the less i miss scouting.  My Daughter is trying to get me to become a Girlscout Master, but i dont know about that.  Maybe i will just wait till my son is ready.

My daughter earned her Gold Award for Girl Scouts, and while you may not wish to be Troop Leader, if you guys hook up with the right troop Girl Scouts can be great and they always need experienced Troop Committee members. If its the camping and outdoors you want, you'll find a lot of girls who want the same thing and just need some interested adults to open the door for them.

If its Boy Scouts and you don't wish to be tied down to one troop right now, check out volunteering as a commissioner for your local council. Remember the 100th anniversary is just around the corner, in 2010 everyone's meeting at the Hill!

Well it has come to it.  I took my daughter to girl scouts, and got roped into cub scouts.  The only question is, will i be an assistant or a scoutmaster.  It also looks like white rose will be a girl scout leader.

Well i just got word that i will be running the Weblow program.  So i will have about 7 little victims to mold

CRF is a big Question mark.  The only day we can make it this year is the 18th, and that is assuming i can manage the funds.  Having both of us at part time status is making life a bit difficult.
