That pounding and moaning you hear?

The picture was crooked so I took my boot off and pounded another nail in the wall.
Then I hit my thumb with the boot heel.......

That's true!  Every word of it!  It's a wonder we have a square inch of wall showing any more.  ;) ;D

Can't I just say there is a towel hanging off the doorknob to our room?  ;D

Oh my *blushes* Wasn't thinking it'd get to towel hanging status!  :o But be my guest, Lil ;)

Good posting, Lil and Elinor!

OK I am putting this out there--

In my last post, I had Wench panic and begin to think they should go to Wales to pick up Zara.

Here is my concern---which is all of you.

This is a group effort. If you all think we should go to El Dorado, I can always have Wench change her mind at the last minute.
My point is this--

I don't want anyone to feel that this is turning into a 'Jack and Honour' story.

So what I would like is your input.
Are you all preferring we go to El Dorado or is anyone up for putting a gate on the quarterdeck and baby-proofing the guns?
A play pen in the crow's nest?

Please let me know how you all feel. Everyone has equal input.
Well, everyone except those two with the blown-up ships in Glen Livet.
They are too busy trying to pick up the pieces of their shattered vessels!

Comments, y'all?

Seeing as I forgot what I forgot when I wrote the first time.
Here goes.

DMT has been a wonderful staple to the 'Pirate' forum since its inception
(See? I didn't say conception!) in 2006.
And, in that time, our vessel has meandered all over the warm waters of the Carribean.
From our home port of Glen Livet, where we always seem to cause nothing but trouble and hilarity.
Over to Tortuga, where I think there has been a blanket ban put out for us to ever return. Or, at least till key people die, then we can go back  :)
To some lesser known islands.
And, in that time, our characters have grown, matured, taken off, spawned new characters, and overall just had a good time.

WW, you pose an interesting proposition that is in keeping with this wanderlusting band of brigands.

Honestly, I don't believe that Jack and Honour have 'threadjacked' the show.
Their story has simple had main stage for awhile.
Which makes Hibernian's tale even more thrilling!!

We have so many undercurrents of storyline simply buzzing to continue, and if we are all agreeable to the idea that this story needs 'fresh waters' to sail, then let's do it.

But, I believe, in keeping with our mode of Tall Tale Telling.
We have to revert to Plan B....
because, as we all know, Plan B is always more exciting and a hell of a lot more fun than simply walking round the corner for a quart of milk.

Cheers!

Hell, Luv. I've got me hands full as it is with me own suspicious nature. Six years 'a being hounded can make a bloke that way, don't ye know? ;)

Besides......it is Mad Jack's ship we be sail'n on.....or is it part yours too??? I still be a bit confused on who holds the letters 'a mark on that one.   ;) ;D

It be more like ye two be catch'n up on some unfinished business if'n ye ask me and ye can follow that chart no matter what course ye steer by. Dorado or Wales.

I'll be keepin' a low profile in England though...(yeah,right)......Malcolm be one thing...but I'll still lay doubloons ta  doughnuts the rest 'a the isle is more'n will'n ta stretch me neck. :-\ :D :D

lilaney

Nope, not mine. Don't own a vessel of me own.

All I own is a small island off the coast of Spain.. well, I will once my brother kicks it... at least, I think he is my brother. *Shrug* mum was a bit vague on that one...

I am not too popular in England either, but, that is mainly up in the North parts, and I did not pack for Winter wear, so I won't be anywhere near those Privateers.

Nice post by the way!!  ;D

Welsh Wench

I think we ALL have baggage we left in England!
Along with a diaper bag for me...

Lilaney sent me a renmail outlining some ideas but to keep the element of surprise going, I am going to forward it to the rest of you.
Some good ideas for the future.

I just want it to continue, it doesn't matter to me where things are headed :) And even if Jack and WW have the spotlight now--which I think they do--I think the spotlight keeps shifting. I mean, there was the section of drama when Elinor had the bullet wound, and all that...there Elinor had the spotlight. Now Brother Timothy is getting a little of the spotlight :) I think that comes with all of us contributing to this wonderful tale, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Plus, if we did sail to Europe...Elinor has part Romani-heritage :) So I could do some research and could work that in, somehow... ;)

lilaney

COOL! Elinor be a Romani?
I did not know that  :o!!

*Brain working*
Oh! That gives me some ideas!

We can have some fun with this!  Jack spent a bit of time living among the Roma in Odessa.  ;D

Sorry about the confusion, Lil....I was teasing Wench on that last post, Luv.  ;) ;D

For anyone interested, I have a Project Gutenberg E-text of a 1904 Romany/English dictionary on a PDF file I could share. Just let me know.

Wonderful post, Martin!

It was very touching losing your beret but maybe it was closure for you, showing he is ready to move on.

Lilany, get in there and save that rump roast Martin's posterior!
