Perhaps Oreo is trying out for Feline Idol? Cats are so funny!
I came down with some mysterious violent blistery rash all over my body. luckily not on my face! Hives? The Dr had no idea.I have not been near poison ivy. Of course it happened Friday afternoon so I had to tough it out all weekend. I am on meds and it is slowly going away- but I sure have been miserable. it was scary. Keeping my fingers crossed it will be gone before saturday so I can make pirate weekend- just a day trip.
I hope my TRF tickets come soon too!  Huzzah to TRF.

My Queen,

I hope you recover and hope to see you sometime this weekend at Scarbourgh. This is my vacation and it will be my first at spending a weekend at a faire.

My condolances to your loss; while on vacation, I've been getting lots of sleep and dreaming of Morgan and Nimer (the 1st), chasing blue jays and climbing trees faster than squirrels.

Again, hope that our paths cross soon.

Rani Zemirah

Oh, my!  How very unnerving for you!  I would imagine the doctor would recognize shingles, so probably not that.  Perhaps you've developed a sensitivity to something in your environment?  I hope you feel better very soon, my dear Queen!

YIKES! I hope you did something so easy as changing to a new wash soap or something that you can pin down and change back! Sounds like no fun! I used to break out from certain clothes wash soaps when I rode my horses bareback.... some reacted with the sweat... My mom got her tickets...your turn! TAG YOUR IT!

Queen Bonnie

I got my TRF tickets! HUZZAH!
I have done NOTHING new. Changed nothing- eat the same stuff. It is still a mystery what happened with the violent reaction. The meds are clearing it up- but it is slow.
I may be stupid but I am going to Scarby for a day trip Tomorrow. I hope I will be OK and it won't flare up again. My morale is so low- I need to get out of here. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I am Ok. I am always so healthy- this has got me down.
Hope to see you there DT Masters!

Bonnie, it sounds to me like stress. You've had alot coming at you lately and when you are over stressed for prolonged periods it cane really supress your immune system and cause reactions such as hives. My opinion of course, but I do know from personal experience.

I think Scarby will be a good tonic. Stay out of the direct sun and stay cool.  Drink plenty of water and try to avoid alcohol or too much sugar or caffenine. These create inflammation and can work against what you are trying to do, which is build your immune system back up. Laugh and sing, but you'll do that anyway and dance!  :)

Have fun and I hope you are feeling better soon. (Hugs)!

Queen Bonnie

Thanks Anna! That is my thought too. I have been under lots of stress and seeing my 20 year old cat fade away was horrible.
I am a health conscious person and don't do caffeine,  do drink tons of water and not really fond of sweets- unless it is dark chocolate! Yum!
I need faire-apy!
Hugs back Anna!

I hope it turned out a great day Bonnie!!! I am sure Faire-apy helped your morale if not the rest of ya!  I had Livestock Auction Therapy today! Bought a new momma goat...named her Agapanthus(Aggie for short) she appears to be at least half Toggenburg... We also sold one 4 month old lamb ram and 3 young billies! Got REALLY good money for our 4....YEAH! We have a ramling growing off to become Gyros and chops...YUM! We also sold the 3 crazy cows and bought a milk cow...she is bred and we bought a milk heifer calf for her to raise as well. Planning to make Yogurt and cottage cheese soon! YUM YUM! YUP you got it the farm is getting real busy! can hardly wait for TRF this year!!!Planning new garb for contests and such...

Queen Bonnie

It was a very nice day. I am glad I went. It did cheer me up to get out and see friends. Melkar is a good driver and we had enjoyable talks on the long drive there and back.
It was hot and humid but I took it easy and drank lots of ice water and stayed mostly in the shade.
I am OK! No more breakouts- so far.
I guess I will go for Sunday and Monday next weekend- then on to TRF.
OOOH! Sounds like you are so busy Cat!
Can't wait to see what costume ideas you come up with.
I have a few ideas too!

Sounds like it helped to heal the tired Queen! faire can do that! Nargles have been spotted here on the Funny Farm,... they have attacked the tractor and now it is not mowing...it runs down the road but does not mow! UGGHH!  I do hate Nargles!!!! Perhaps if I can convince them that what they did was helpful they will fix it just to spite me?????? I will let you know if it works!

Queen Bonnie

Sad to hear of your latest Nargle attack Cat! Drat. Nargles HATE to be helpful. It might just work! Or get out your wand!!!
I hope I can keep them at bay here for a while.
No Nargles needed at MeowManor!
Twas a quiet day here! Thanks be!

I do hope you can keep your Nargles at bay! They tend to trash everything!

Queen Bonnie

We both need to banish Nargles from our realms!
I should have named Neri- Nargle! She is being El Destructo kitty this AM. On a rampage tipping over plants and gnawing things. I think she has been watching Tasmanian Devil cartoons! LOL!

B vitamins might help! They help to calm SOME wild things! or a well placed vinegar in a water gun!  I have a new goat you will love! So far she is a real sweet laidback goat! Ahh well I hope Neri slows down a bit....HMMM Valerian root maybe????
